Concept

This is a photograph created based on the concept and idea of constructed photograph like Blinded by Colours. In other words, it is a photograph of a miniature set that you built.

When I was making this work, the direction is making something related to the nature. There was no limit of choice of media and I was at rush so of course I chose photography to safe some time. And then I got the idea of using light to remake the scenario of some nature events. And the Los Angeles wildfire in 2024 inspired me to think if I made a work using light to remake the fire texture how would it be. And also what will happen if flooding and wild fire happen at the same time. So I made this work to show the possible scene and to let people know any of these can happened suddenly, and we should get prepared to avoid these problems as best as we can and escape if needed.
